One of the great things about Camp Horizons is that it provides a “no-risk” sampler of activities for our child to try. This has prompted him to experiment with Sports and Arts - two areas that aren't usually his first choices - and this has been a real boost. Thank you! It's great that he's been able to have these new experiences.
Your program has been so great for our son. He enjoys choosing what to do at camp and feels the activities are fun. He likes being able to alternate Tennis and Swimming with creative activities like Marshmallow Clay, and Rocketry.
Two things make Horizons a great camp for our son - the ability to focus exclusively on what he likes to do and the quality of the counselors and the relationships they form with the campers. They're just a cut above the average group of camp counselors in creativity, maturity, dedication and fun!
Because of your unique program, our son has enjoyed the past two years at camp so much. We were doubly impressed with the high quality and genuine care given to him and would love for him to attend every summer.
I'd like to take this opportunity to say what an impressive organization you run. From the very first contact with your staff at the open house, it's been a positive experience. On that day, Paul went from,"I don't want to go to any camp!" to "Boy, I can't wait ‘til it’s summer."
Overall the camp is a great way for children to have an opportunity to try activities they have an interest in. The staff is professional, respectful and flexible. My daughter enjoys her entire day at camp.
This is the first summer that there has not been, "I don't want to go to camp!" or, “It’s too hot and the bus ride is too long!"

Horizons has been a wonderful opportunity to allow our children to grow, and to create and experience what you don't learn in school all year. They feel very accomplished from the Sports, Swimming, Ceramics, Rocketry and Photography classes. They are very proud of their projects and new abilities.
