Week 8 Travel Camp Program
During week eight, Camp Horizons goes mobile, with exciting day trips to many terrific destinations in the local tri-state area at no extra charge.
Campers arrive at camp at the normal time and in their usual fashion. We organize into grade groups and board the mini-buses, departing from Newark Academy by 9:30 – 9:45 am.
Campers enjoy our trip of the day, returning to Newark Academy by 3:15 pm where they have a snack and are organized to return home at our normal camp dismissal time of 3:45 pm.

Rainy day options include IMAX movies, bowling, roller skating, the Children’s Museum, Funplex, Imagine That!, and others.
